beautiful sarah

so i have been spending time with sarah joy mullan! she is gorgeous, beautiful and adorable! but i have no pictures to post as they haven't been down loaded =) but if jemima or avril are reading, i have been taking loads.....she's a lovely wee thing, just back to her birth weight. she eats eats and eats! its amazing how much you ( i ) can forget how little newborns are and how much they feed! bless esther! she has her work cut out for her with their wee hungry girl!!! as soon as we came, stephen was off to italy on a school trip! how nice =) so so far, its been a great trip. we are all tired though! i was up yesterday at 4:45 and didn't go to sleep until 11:45 while andy didn't even arrive here until 12:15!! his 8:00 flight was delayed until 10:30! how crazy is that?? yuck!

New daddy Simon and Auntie Jo both sent some photos yesterday! So without further ado:

all smiles this morning! simon and esther had a baby GIRL this morning at 6am! SARAH JOY was 8lbs and 15oz!! i am only guessing on the 'h' at the end of sarah. that seems to be the norm?? anyway, we are so excited to finally have a wee girl in the family!! so there are 3boys and 1 girl!!!

no news yet on esther! but if she reads this, we are all praying for you esther!! keep up the good work and it'll all be worth it in the end! you won't remember a thing...ha ha =)

good news, but no announcement!

the good news is that esther is in labor...bad news is that she's been having contractions since yesterday and they are the same today, though getting stronger. i am waiting to hear from someone to see if they have progressed enough that they are heading to hospital. it's so hard waiting to hear! i woke up at half 6 this morning, and texted not soon after, desperate to hear. but they had gotten a good nights sleep, so that was good! i will update when i know more =)

Esther's due date!

my sister-in-law esther is due TODAY!!! we are so excited *hoping for a girl =)* this will be their first, simon and esther....the 4 grandchild in the mullans, but the first for esther's mom and dad!! so much anticipation! i texted with esther yesterday and she was feeling great, so i'm not expecting anything today, though *anything* can happen!!!

today the boys and i are going to the botanical gardens and meeting my old work friend clare and her little girl charlie! should be fun as long as it doesn't rain!! its overcast but dry at the moment!

thanks to auntie jo, auntie esther and uncle simon for micah's birthday presents...and paul, jenny, peter and lois! micah opened your presents this morning and loved them all!! micah is going to think his birthday lasts a long time as he has opened presents like every 3 days! on his birthday he had 3 pressies, then from mimi on the wednesday, then from sheila and the stocks on saturday then this morning! what fun! he's been randomly singing "happy birthday me" these last few days! oh the joys =) and i think there is still a pressie to come from his uncle steve and uncle phil!!!

well i better go and get these monsters dressed!! have a good day everyone and pray for esther =)

monday morning

here is another picture from yesterday! i forgot to post it! we had a good day yesterday except for noah wanting to play with micah's new farm yard. wow. this is going to be fun! then again this morning we have had to break up a few possesive fights! the elmo video, learning to share didn't help much this morning. guess we'll have to watch it lots and lots!

today is andy's first day back at school...a teacher training day. and then tomorrow the children start. so we are trying to plan our days here as micah is at that point of knowing, he likes to know what we are doing!

so this afternoon we are making some cupcakes that have thomas sugar soemthing or others for the top of them, and also maybe some chocolate chip cookies as i found 2 bags of chips in the cupboard! what fun =)

sometime this week we'll maybe be going back to the botanical gardens as when we went on friday we bought an annual pass that lets in 2 adults =) children under 5 get in for free. the playground is nice and there are lots of places for the children to run around. as well as being nice for the adults. so i invited our friend hannah who has baby samuel (8 months) so as long as the weather is nice we hopefully will go. then i'll ask another friend clare who we haven't seen in ages if she and her little girl want to meet us there. her little charlie is a few weeks younger than micah and very cute! i think i'll do a photo session with her while we are there!

i had a wedding on saturday with another photographer, lisa of candee photography and it went pretty well. the bride was late because of traffic so we started the 1:00 wedding at maybe 1:30 i think! yikes =) but everyone was laid back and it didn't really seem to matter!

well i gotta go and make these cupcakes with micah! love to you all =)
